Ingredients for Tomato Pethe Ka Halwa Recipe

  • Tomatoes,pureed 4 large

  • Petha (sweet) canned 1/2 kilogram

  • Ghee 2 tablespoon

  • Almonds roughly chopped 15-20

  • Cashewnuts roughly chopped 15-20

  • Green cardamom powder a pinch

  • Khoya/mawa,grated 1 cup


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non stick kadai. Add almonds and cashewnuts and sauté lightly. Add tomato purée and cook for 5-7 minutes. Grate petha and keep aside.

Step 2

Add green cardamom powder to the tomato mixture and cook till it thickens.Add khoya and mix and sauté for 4-5 minutes.

Step 3

Add petha and mix. Cook till the mixture thickens. Transfer into drones and serve hot.
