Ingredients for Til Mil Paneer Recipe

  • White Sesame Seeds 4 tablespoons

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 1 inch cubes 200 grams

  • Salt to taste

  • Bread crumbs 1/3 cup

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Semolina (rawa/suji) 1 tablespoon

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Sprinkle salt and chaat masala on both the sides of the paneer cubes and set aside. Heat oil in a kadai. In a bowl mix refined flour, garlic, red chilli powder and sufficient water to make thick batter.

Step 2

In a plate mix bread crumbs with semolina, sesame seeds and salt. Dip the paneer pieces in the batter and roll in the bread crumb mixture and gently slide into the hot oil.

Step 3

Deep fry on medium heat for five to seven minutes or until golden brown. Drain or absorbent paper.

Step 4

Serve hot with tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
