Relish a salad platter of thinly sliced tomatoes, with chunks of mozzarella, a drizzle of olive oil, sliced black olives and basil leaves. Arrange in concentric circles on a nice white plate. Ingredients for Sweet And Sour Sauce Recipe

  • Tomato Ketchup 1 cup

  • malt vinegar 1/3 cup

  • Soy sauce 2 teaspoons

  • Sugar 1/4 cup

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Mix tomato ketchup, malt vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper powder, salt and cornflour in a pan with two cups of water and stir to blend well.

Step 2

Slowly heat the mixture, stirring continuously till it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes. Cool and store.
