Ingredients for Stuffed Pizza Recipe

  • Fresh Dough

  • Tomato Concasse 1 medium

  • Green capsicum 1

  • Extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons

  • Tomato concasse 1/4

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 1 cup

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1/2 teaspoon

  • Dried mixed herbs 1/2 teaspoon

  • Fresh red chilli thinly sliced 1

  • Pickled jalapeno peppers sliced 2

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven at 180°C. Slice onion and green capsicum. Divide the pizza dough into 2 portions and roll each as thinly as possible.

Step 2

Brush 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil on a baking tray and place one pizza on it.Spread most of the tomato concasse on it. Sprinkle most of the onion and capsicum.

Step 3

Sprinkle most of the mozzarella cheese, crushed black pepper, ¼ tsp mixed herbs, fresh red chilli, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil and place the second pizza round over. Press the edges to seal and roll them slightly.

Step 4

Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the second pizza round, remaining tomato concasse, pickled jalapeno, remaining onion and capsicum, remaining olive oil and remaining mixed herbs.

Step 5

Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the base is cooked the cheese melted. Remove from oven, cut into wedges and serve hot.
