Ingredients for Stir Fried Chicken With Basil And Chilli Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken cut into strips 4

  • Fresh Basil

  • Fresh basil leaves 1 cup

  • Fresh red chillies diagonally sliced 6-8

  • Oil 2 tablespo

  • Garlic chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Fish sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick wok. Heat sufficient oil in another wok.Add garlic to the first pan and sauté on high heat till lightly browned.

Step 2

Place chicken in a bowl, add fish sauce and mix. Add chicken to the pan and stir.

Step 3

Squeeze out excess water from basil and add them to the hot oil in wok and deep fry till crisp. Strain the basil through a sieve and set aside.

Step 4

Add red chillies and soy sauce to chicken and mix well. Add salt, sugar and stir. Cook till the chicken is done. Add fried basil leaves and toss. Serve hot.
