Ingredients for Steamed Seafood Packets Recipe

  • Shrimps deveined 200 grams

  • Mushrooms quartered 5-6

  • Green garlic chopped 5-6 stalks

  • Onion chopped 1 large

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 3-4

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Wash shrimps thoroughly under running water and drain. Mix together shrimps, mushrooms, green garlic, onion, salt, crushed black peppercorns and lemon juice. Take a piece of aluminium foil and shape into a packet.

Step 2

Fill it less than half with the shrimp mixture leaving top space empty for steam to accumulate. Fold and seal the top tightly so that the steam does not escape. Heat a griddle or pan and place the aluminium packets on it.

Step 3

Cook on low heat for five to six minutes. If cooking in a pan, you can add some water to it and the packets get steamed in waterbed. Serve in the aluminium packet itself so that it can be opened just before eating.
