Ingredients for Spiced Papaya Iced Tea Recipe

  • Green cardamoms 2-3

  • Cinnamon 1 inch

  • Papaya chopped 8 tablespoons

  • Tea bags 2

  • Sugar 2-3 tablespoons

  • Ice cubes as required

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing


Step 1

Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan. Bring to a boil.

Step 2

Add cardamoms, cinnamon, sugar and tea bags. Switch off heat and set aside for 4-5 minutes.

Step 3

Discard tea bags and strain the mixture into a jug.

Step 4

Place ice cubes in individual tall glasses. Pour strained mixture in each glass, top with 2 tablespoons chopped papaya, garnish with a mint sprig and serve chilled.
