Ingredients for Schezwan Chicken Tikka Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken Breasts cut into 2 inch cubes 2

  • Schezwan Chutney 5 tablespoons

  • Onions quartered and layers separated 2 small

  • Green capsicum cut into 1 inch pieces 1/4

  • Red capsicum cut into 1 inch pieces 1/4

  • Yellow capsicum cut into 1 inch pieces 1/4

  • Mayonnaise 1/4 cup

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

Method

Step 1

Place chicken pieces in a bowl. Add 3 tbsps schezwan chutney and mix well.

Step 2

Add onion, green, red and yellow capsicums and mix. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Step 3

To make the dip, mix together remaining Schezwan chutney and mayonnaise in a bowl.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick grill pan. Skew the chicken and vegetable pieces on satay sticks in this manner: chicken, onion, yellow capsicum, onion, green capsicum, chicken, red capsicum, onion and chicken.

Step 5

Place the sticks in the grill pan. Pour oil over the tikkas. Rotate the sticks so that the tikkas are evenly done on all sides.

Step 6

Arrange the tikkas on a serving plate and serve hot with the Schezwan-mayonnaise dip.
