Ingredients for Savoury Biscuit and Paneer Canapes Recipe

  • Salted cracker biscuits 16

  • Cottage cheese 150 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespo teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • pesto sauce for topping 4 teaspoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • cherry tomatoes 4

  • cream cheese 16 teaspoons


Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick grill pan.

Step 2

Cut cottage cheese into thick slices. Add salt, pesto sauce, crushed peppercorns and 1 tsp oil and rub the slices well.

Step 3

Cut 16 small roundels from cottage cheese slices using a small cookie cutter.

Step 4

Place cottage cheese roundels on the pan and grill, flipping, for 2 minutes on each side or till grill marks appear on them.

Step 5

Quarter cherry tomatoes.

Step 6

Apply 1 tsp cream cheese on each cracker biscuit. Place a grilled cottage cheese roundel on each and top with a cherry tomato quarter, little pesto sauce and crushed peppercorns.

Step 7

Serve immediately.
