Ingredients for Saeb aur Badam ka Halwa Recipe

  • Apples (saeb) peeled and grated 4

  • Khoya / Mawa grated 1/2 cup

  • Ghee 2 tablespoons

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Almonds blanched peeled and ground 1/2 cup

  • Slivered almonds Few blanched peeled for garnishing


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ground almonds and sauté for 10 minutes or till lightly browned.

Step 2

Add grated apples and cook on low heat stirring continuously.

Step 3

Add sugar and green cardamom powder and cook till sugar dissolves.

Step 4

Add khoya and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

Step 5

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with almond slivers and serve.
