Ingredients for Pudina Chaas Recipe

  • Yogurt 1 1/2 cups

  • Fresh mint leaves torn 4 tablespoons

  • Green chilli 1

  • Ginger peeled 1 inch piece

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon

  • Dry mint leaves crushed 1 teaspoon

  • Ice cubes crushed as required

Method

Step 1

Grind fresh mint leaves, green chilli, ginger and sea salt together to a coarse paste in a mortar with a pestle.

Step 2

Blend this paste with yogurt, adding roasted cumin powder and four cups of water.

Step 3

Pour chaas equally in four glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
