Over the centuries Spain has been invaded by Romans, French, Moors, Phoenicians who introduced new cooking styles and ingredients in the Spanish cuisine, but the Spanish food is also influenced by other cultures. Spaniards were the main colonizers of America, Columbus was Spanish!  
The discovery of the New World brought new essential ingredients to the Mediterranean gastronomy like tomato, potato, chocolate that are now commonly used in a lot of Spanish dishes.

Ingredients for Pineapple and Peach Colada Recipe

  • Pineapple slices 4 tinned + for garnishing

  • Peaches 4 tinned + for garnishing

  • Coconut milk 1 cup

  • Vanilla icecream 4 scoops

  • Fresh mint sprigs 4


Step 1

Chop pineapple slices and put into a blender jar. Chop peaches and add to the jar and blend.

Step 2

Add ½ cup coconut milk and blend again. Add vanilla icecream and blend again.

Step 3

Pour into 4 glasses. Decorate the rim with small pieces of pineapple and peach and a sprig of fresh mint.

Step 4

Serve chilled.
