Ingredients for Pepperoni and Asparagus Canapes Recipe

  • Asparagus 5-6

  • White bread slices edges discarded and cut into 4 4

  • pepperoni slices 16

  • Butter ½ teaspoon For topping

  • Cheddar cheese grated ½ cup

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Spread some butter on each bread piece. Place one pepperoni slice on each bread pieces.

Step 2

Cut asparagus into 2 inch pieces and place 3 pieces on each bread piece.

Step 3

Take cheese in a bowl. Add crushed peppercorns, salt and chilli flakes and mix well.

Step 4

Put some cheese mixture on asparagus on each bread piece.

Step 5

Heat ½ teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Place prepared bread, cover and cook till cheese melts.

Step 6

Serve immediately.
