Ingredients for Pepperoni Pizza Sticks Recipe

  • Pepperoni slices as required

  • Dough pizza 100 grams

  • Olive oil for greasing

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Fresh basil leaves as required

  • Mozzarella cheese grated to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some olive oil.

Step 2

Dust the worktop with some flour. Place the dough on it and roll out into a thin disc and spread it on the greased tray.

Step 3

Trim the edges to get a square shape and further cut out into thick strips to fit pepperoni slices.

Step 4

Prick the strips with a fork, place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the tray from oven and cool. Top each strip with 6-7 pepperoni slices and place 3-4 basil leaves. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

Step 6

Put the tray back in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.

Step 7

Serve hot.
