Ingredients for Peanut Butter Chocolate Squares Recipe

  • Peanut butter 2 cups

  • Milk chocolate finely chopped 2 cups

  • Butter 1 cup

  • Sugar 3 cups

  • Digestive biscuits crumbled 1 1/2 cups

  • Fresh cream 1/4 cup


Step 1

Melt ½ cup butter in a non stick pan, add peanut butter and mix well. Add sugar and mix till the sugar melts. Place the biscuit crumbs in a large bowl, add the butter-sugar mixture and mix till well blended. Pour this into a large aluminium tray and pat the tray on the worktop to spread it evenly. Keep the tray in a refrigerator to chill. Melt the remaining ½ cup butter in another non stick pan. Take pan off the heat and add chocolate. Whisk till chocolate melts and blends well with the butter. Warm fresh cream and add. Mix well.

Step 2

Take the tray out of the refrigerator and pour this mixture over and spread it evenly all over the peanut butter-biscuit base. Keep it in the refrigerator again to set. Cut into squares and serve.
