And did you always think that eating a potato will make you fat?
Well, don’t – it is a surprising source of vitamin C and provides useful amounts of starch, thiamine and niacin and around a hundred grams will provide about eighty calories.

Ingredients for Parmesan Hash Browns Recipe

  • Potatoes parboiled, peeled and grated 4 medium

  • Parmesan cheese powder ¼ cup

  • Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Fresh thyme sprigs 1-2

  • Butter 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Preheat oven to 200° C.

Step 2

Take potatoes, garlic powder, salt, crushed peppercorns, parmesan cheese, torn thyme sprigs and butter in a bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Put potato mixture into small cupcake moulds tray and flatten lightly.

Step 4

Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and demould.

Step 5

Serve hot.
