Ingredients for Parmesan Crumb Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken leg, cut into 1 inch pieces 250 grams

  • Parmesan cheese powder ¼ cup

  • Bread crumbs panko ½ cup

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Egg 1

  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

Step 1

Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, chilli flakes, lemon juice and ginger-garlic paste and mix. Break an egg into the bowl and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Take bread crumbs on a plate. Add parmesan cheese powder and salt and mix well.

Step 4

Coat each marinated chicken piece with bread crumbs-parmesan cheese mixture.

Step 5

Gently slide them into the hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 6

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
