Ingredients for Papdi Chaat Recipe

  • Wheat Tortillas 2 large

  • Mixed Sprouts to deep fry

  • Mixed sprouts 1 cup

  • Onions chopped 1/2 cup

  • Green chillies chopped 2-3

  • Potatoes boiled, peeled and cut into small cubes 2 medium

  • Mixture of red chilli powder dried fenugreek leaves, salt and dried mango powde 1 teaspoon

  • Sweet date and tamarind chutney as required

  • Green chutney as required

Method

Step 1

Cut the tortillas into bite sized pieces.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan and deep fry the pieces till crisp. Drain on absorbent napkin.

Step 3

Put mixed sprouts, onions, green chillies, potato and spice mixture in a bowl and toss well.

Step 4

Arrange the tortilla pieces on a serving plate, put some of the sprout mixture on each. Drizzle a little sweet date and tamarind chutney and green chutney.

Step 5

Serve immediately.
