Ingredients for Palak And Pearl Rice With Crispy Noodles Recipe

  • Spinach leaves finely chopped 1 bunch

  • Rice boiled 1/4 cup

  • Rice cooked 1 cup

  • Oil 6 tablespoons

  • Noodles boiled 1/4 cup

  • Onions sliced 2 medium

  • Garlic crushed 6-8

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Heat four tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the boiled noodles till crisp and golden. Drain. Chop onions and garlic in the chopper.

Step 2

Heat two tablespoons oil in another non-stick pan and sauté the onion-garlic mixture till golden. Crush the American corn and add along with spinach and cook on high heat. Add salt and cook.

Step 3

Add rice and mix well. Grease a bear shaped silicon mould lightly. Put the rice mixture into it and pack tightly. Unmould it onto a serving plate.

Step 4

Crush the fried noodles and place them over the rice and serve immediately.
