Ingredients for Onion And Tomato Gravy Recipe

  • Onions sliced 4 medium

  • Tomatoes chopped 8 medium

  • Butter 50 grams

  • Green capsicums sliced 2

  • Red chillies crushed 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic crushed 1 tablespoon

  • Bay leaves 2


Step 1

Heat butter in a pan and add roughly sliced onions and saute. Add sliced capsicums, crushed chili powder, salt, paprika or red chili powder, crushed garlic and bay leaves.

Step 2

Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and water and mix. Add salt, paprika powder. Mix and let it cook covered till the tomatoes are soft. This may take about 10-15 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
