Ingredients for Mustard Mushroom Recipe

  • Mustard seeds 2 teaspoon

  • Mushroom 500 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespoon + to deep fry

  • Garlic 4 cloves

  • Dried red chilli 4

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Dry mango powder (amchur) 1 teaspoon



Step 1

Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai.

Step 2

Deep fry mushrooms until golden. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.Grind garlic, mustard seeds and red chillies into a smooth paste. Use water only if required.

Step 3

Heat one tablespoon oil in another non-stick kadai. Add ground paste, salt and turmeric powder. Saute till oil separates.

Step 4

Add mushrooms, amchur and quarter cup of water. Mix well, cover and cook for two minutes or till water dries up. Serve hot with rotis.
