Ingredients for Mixed Vegetable Usli Recipe

  • French beans finely chopped 150 grams

  • Green peas 1/4 cup

  • Carrot finely chopped 1 large

  • Cauliflower separated into small florets 1 small

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon

  • Dried red chilli halved 1

  • Salt to taste

  • Scraped coconut 3 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and allow them to sputter.

Step 2

Add red chilli and sauté for a minute.

Step 3

Add the vegetables, one-by-one, and sauté for two minutes.

Step 4

Add salt and little water, if required, stir and simmer till the vegetables are cooked.

Step 5

Add coconut and mix well. Serve hot.
