Ingredients for Kankairi Recipe

  • Raw mango grated 1 medium

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Fenugreek seeds (methi dana) 1/2 teaspoon

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Onion grated 1 medium

  • Jaggery (gur) grated 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds, allow it to splutter.

Step 2

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, grated mango and onion. Mix well. Saute for two minutes.

Step 3

Add jaggery and salt .Mix well and sprinkle little water.

Step 4

Cook for two minutes and serve.
