Ingredients for Honey Sesame Beans Recipe

  • Honey 1 tablespoon

  • White sesame seeds roasted, 2 tablespoons + for sprinkling

  • French beans stringed 250 grams

  • Salt to taste

  • Sesame oil (til oil) 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger grated 1/2 tablespoon

  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon zest 1

  • Juice of ½ lemon


Step 1

Blanch French beans in hot water with some salt. Transfer the beans in a bowl of ice-cold water to refresh. Drain and use.

Step 2

Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger, mix and sauté for 30 seconds.

Step 3

Add French beans, soy sauce, honey, chilli flakes and salt and toss to mix.

Step 4

Add lemon zest and lemon juice, mix well and cook for a minute. Add sesame seeds and toss to mix.

Step 5

Sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve hot.
