Ingredients for Homemade Sausage Triangles Recipe

  • Chicken Sausages 200 grams

  • Filo Pastry

  • Oil 3 teaspoons

  • Onion grated 1 large

  • Garlic chopped 2 cloves

  • Potatoes boiled and mashed 2 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed 5-6

  • Filo pastry 4 sheet

  • Egg beaten 1


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Heat oil in a small pan, add onion and garlic and sauté till translucent. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 2

Add mashed potatoes and sausages and mix well. Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix.

Step 3

Cut each pastry sheet into half. Divide the mixture equally among the pastry halves and place it on one side of the pastry. Brush eggs around the edges and fold into triangles.

Step 4

Place the triangles on a lightly oiled oven tray. Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for about twenty five minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot.
