Ingredients for Herbed Garlic Cookies Recipe

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) ½ cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Fresh rosemary chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh thyme 1 teaspoon

  • Cheddar cheese grated ½ cup

  • Egg yolks 3

  • Salt ½ teaspoon

  • Chilled butter ½ cup


Step 1

Take refined flour in a bowl. Add wheat flour, cheese, egg yolks, salt, garlic, rosemary, parsley and thyme and mix well.

Step 2

Add butter and mix till it resembles breadcrumbs. Add 2-3 tablespoons cold water and mix till well combined. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions, shape them into balls, lightly flatten and place them on a baking tray.

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
