Ingredients for Fish and Mango Kabab Recipe

  • Fish cubes 1 cup

  • Mango pulp ½ cup

  • Raw mango grated ¼ cup

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes ½ teaspoon

  • Oil 2 tablespoons + for grilling

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnishing a few

  • Lemon wedges for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Combine mango pulp, raw mango, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well. Add red chilli flakes and mix well. Add 2 tablespoons oil and mix again.

Step 2

Add fish cubes and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 8-10 minutes.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick grill pan.

Step 4

String marinated fish cubes onto satay sticks.

Step 5

Add some oil to the grill pan and heat. Place the satay sticks on it and grill basting with the marinade on top, till evenly done from all sides and fish is cooked.

Step 6

Place kababs on serving plate, spread the leftover marinade on top, garnish it mint leaves and lemon wedges and serve hot.
