Ever wondered why the phrase “say cheese” is used just before a photograph is clicked? Simply because ‘cheese’ makes one smile! Not only the word but cheese as a food makes a lot of palates happy. It is an inexpensive, versatile and nourishing food. We have our very own Indian version as well as the ones made from soy milk that are even healthier. Whichever form, this is one food that is loved by one and all!

Ingredients for Feta Rocher Recipe

  • Feta cheese 1 cup

  • Pistachios 4 teaspoons

  • chopped dried cranberries 4 teaspoons

  • green olives pitted and chopped 4 teaspoons

  • chopped pistachios 2 tablespoons

  • chopped almonds 2 tablespoons

  • chopped walnuts 2 tablespoons

  • fresh parsley finely chopped ½ teaspoon


Step 1

Mash feta cheese and divide into 16 equal portions.

Step 2

Stuff one portion with chopped sundried tomatoes, one with dried cranberries, one with olives and one with all the three and shape them into small balls. Similarly prepare the remaining balls.

Step 3

Spread chopped pistachios, almonds and walnuts on a plate and mix well. Add chopped parsley and mix again. Coat the balls evenly in the mixture.

Step 4

Sprinkle leftover nut mixture on top and serve immediately.
