Ingredients for Drunken Chicken With Vegetables Recipe

  • Chicken minced 250 grams

  • Carrot peeled 1 medium

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Oil 1 tablespoons

  • Button mushrooms 7-8

  • White wine 1-2 cups

  • Red bird’s-eye chillies 3

  • Salt to taste

  • Rice,soaked 1/2 cup

  • Black pepper powder a pinch

  • Asparagus 3-4

  • Broccoli 5-6 florets

  • Red capsicum 1/2

  • Green capsicum 1/2


Step 1

Halve carrot and cut into cubes. Chop onion. Quarter mushrooms.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onion and sauté. When onions are lightly sautéed, add white wine.

Step 3

Shape chicken mince into small balls and add to the pan. Add mushrooms and carrot.

Step 4

Diagonally halve bird’s eye chillies and add. Add salt and stir.

Step 5

Add rice and a pinch of black pepper powder.

Step 6

Trim the tips of asparagus and set aside. Cut the remaining asparagus into big pieces and add.

Step 7

Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Cut red and green capsicum into small pieces and add.

Step 8

Add a little water, mix, cover and cook.

Step 9

When rice is almost done, add broccoli and asparagus tips and mix.

Step 10

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
