Ingredients for Dolma Recipe

  • Cabbage cups, stems removed and blanched 8

  • Cabbage leaves as required

  • Chicken mince 250 grams

  • Rice soaked for 30 minutes ½ cup

  • Fresh mint leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh parsley chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin powder ½ teaspoon

  • Tomato finely chopped 1 medium

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon slices as required

  • Sriracha sauce for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Heat some water in a deep non-stick pan. Place a bamboo steamer in it, cover and bring water to boil.

Step 2

Combine chicken mince, rice, mint leaves, parsley, cumin powder, tomato, onion and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Take each cabbage cup, put some chicken mixture in the center and wrap it.

Step 4

Line the steamer with cabbage leaves, place the wraps over them. Place a lemon slice on top of each wrap, cover and steam for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5

Arrange the wrap on a serving plate, drizzle some sriracha sauce on top and serve immediately.
