Ingredients for Dhaniya Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken 600 grams

  • Coriander 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic paste 2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 3 teaspoons

  • Oil 2 tablespoon

  • Onion paste 1 1/2 cup

  • Tomato chopped 1 large

  • Coriander powder 2 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons

  • Yogurt 200 grams

  • Sugar large pinch

  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and refrigerate it for half an hour.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a non stick pan, add onion paste and saute till light brown.

Step 3

Add tomatoes and saute for a minute. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, yogurt, sugar, salt and chicken and one cup water and mix well.

Step 4

Cook till chicken is tender.

Step 5

Remove from flame serve hot garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
