Ingredients for Creamy Chicken Casserole Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 450 grams

  • Processed cheese grated 1 cup

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Button mushrooms sliced 8-10

  • Dijon mustard 1½ teaspoons

  • Chicken stock ½ cup

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180ºC.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté well.

Step 3

Add chicken, mix and cook for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add mustard, mix well and cook. Add chicken stock and salt, mix and cook till semi-dry.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture into a glass baking dish and top with cheese. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot.
