Ingredients for Chocolate Mawa Cupcakes Recipe

  • Chocolate chips 1/2 cup

  • Mawa (khoya) crumbled 200 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 140 grams

  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

  • Butter 120 grams

  • Condensed milk 250 grams

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Milk 80 millilitres


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Step 2

Sift the flour with baking powder and baking soda into a deep bowl.

Step 3

In another bowl, cream the butter and condensed milk together till light and fluffy. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.

Step 4

Fold the flour lightly into the butter mixture. Add the milk and mawa and mix well.

Step 5

Arrange the cupcake moulds on a baking tray and pour the batter evenly into each mould. Do not fill them up to the top.

Step 6

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and place the tray in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 7

Demould and serve.
