When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Cutlet Recipe

  • Chicken Mince 500 grams

  • Onion

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Green chillies 2

  • Red capsicum 1/2 medium

  • Green capsicum 1/4 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Fresh brown bread crumbs 1/2 cup

  • Oil for shallow frying


Step 1

Roughly chop onion, green chillies, red capsicum and green capsicum and put them in a chopper and chop finely.

Step 2

Transfer into a bowl. Add chicken, salt and pepper powder and mix well.

Step 3

Add bread crumbs and mix well. Heat a little oil on a non stick tawa.

Step 4

Dampen your palms, take a little chicken mixture and pat into thin and flat heart shaped cutlets.

Step 5

Place them on the tawa, and cook till the underside is golden.

Step 6

Turn over and cook till the other side is equally golden.

Step 7

Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
