Burritos With Salsa Fresca

Ingredients for Burritos With Salsa Fresca Recipe

  • Refried beans 1/2 cup

  • Cheese grated 1/2 cup

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Lettuce shredded 1 cup

  • Salsa 1/4 cup


Step 1

Mix together beans, lettuce, onion and cheese. Heat tortillas on a griddle plate (tawa) until hot and pliable but make sure it does not become dry.

Step 2

Place about two tablespoons of beans mixture a little below the center of the tortilla.

Step 3

Top it up with the salsa fresca and fold sides of tortilla over the filling to the center.

Step 4

Fold bottom over filling and roll up, enclosing filling completely. Serve immediately as burritos tend to become soggy very soon.
