Ingredients for Berry Berry Crumble Recipe

  • Gooseberries 1/2 cup

  • Strawberries 1/2 cup

  • Red grapes 1/2 cup

  • Ginger chopped 1/2 inch piece

  • Honey 4 tablespoons

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/3 cups

  • Butter softened 1/3 cup

  • Porridge Oats 1/4 cup

  • Brown sugar 2 tablespoons

  • Almond flakes 15-20

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Pre heat oven to 175ºC. Lightly grease an ovenproof dish. Quarter the bigger strawberries and halve the smaller ones. Halve the gooseberries.

Step 2

Halve the red grapes, remove seeds and further chop them. Transfer these fruits into a bowl, add ginger and pour two tablespoons of honey over them. Mix well.

Step 3

To make the crumble, sieve the flour in a bowl and rub in butter with your finger tips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in porridge oats, brown sugar, flaked almonds and cinnamon powder. Add the remaining honey and mix until well combined.
