Ingredients for Beetroot Chaas Recipe

  • Beetroot chopped 1 small

  • Carrots chopped 4 small

  • Fresh mint leaves 20-25

  • Green chillies chopped 4

  • Salt to taste

  • Black salt (kala namak) to taste

  • Roasted cumin seeds 1 tablespoon

  • Yogurt 2 cups

  • Ice cubes as required


Step 1

Put the beetroot, carrots, mint leaves, green chillies, salt, black salt, cumin seeds, one cup yogurt in a blender and blend for two to three minutes.

Step 2

Add the remaining yogurt, ice cubes and continue to blend for another two minutes.

Step 3

Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.
