Ingredients for Banana Yogurt Muffins Recipe

  • Bananas 2

  • Yogurt 1 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1¾ cups

  • Butter ½ cup

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ cup

  • Egg beaten 1

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda ½ teaspoon

  • Chocolate chips ¼ cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180ºC.

Step 2

Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.

Step 3

Add egg and vanilla essence and beat till well incorporated.

Step 4

Sift together the flour and baking soda in another bowl. Add chocolate chips and mix.

Step 5

Add the flour mixture and yogurt to the butter-sugar mixture and beat well.

Step 6

Peel and roughly chop bananas and add to the bowl. Beat again to make a smooth batter.

Step 7

Spoon the batter into individual muffin moulds upto ¾ full, place them on a baking tray, place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 8

Demould and serve.
