Ingredients for Baked Gajar Halwa with Gulab Jamun Recipe

  • carrots grated 8-10 medium

  • Gulab Jamun mini 20-22

  • Ghee 3 tablespoon

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp + fo

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Rose syrup 1 teaspoon

  • Khoya/mawa ½ cup


Step 1

To make gajarhalwa, heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add carrots and sauté for 8-10 minutes. Add sugar, green cardamom powder and mix well. Add milk and cook till the mixture thickens.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180º C.

Step 3

Put mini gulabjaamuns in a baking dish, spreadgajarhalwa over it, sprinkle cardamom powder on top, drizzle rose syrup and spread khoya evenly. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the dish from the oven and serve hot.
