Ingredients for Annanas Ki Boti Recipe

  • Boneless mutton 1 inch cubes 500 grams

  • Pineapple 1 inch pieces 1/2

  • Oil 1 cup

  • Cloves 2

  • Green cardamoms 2

  • Onions,sliced 2 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Ginger paste 2 teaspoon

  • Garlic paste 2 teaspoon

  • Yogurt whisked 1 cup

  • Muskmelon seed power 1 teaspoon

  • Watermelon seed powder 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Green chillies slit 2

  • Potatoes 1 inch cubes 2-3 medium

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Fry pineapple pieces. Drain and keep aside. To the same oil add cloves, green cardamoms and onions and sauté till light brown in colour. Add mutton, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste and garlic paste.

Step 2

Sauté till dry. Add a little water, just enough to cover the mutton. Pressure cook for six whistles or till mutton is tender. Add yogurt, muskmelon seed powder, watermelon seed powder, coriander leaves and green chillies and place on low heat, stirring briskly. Add potatoes and pineapple.

Step 3

After five minutes add a little water and cook on low heat till potatoes are tender and the gravy thickens. Sprinkle garam masala powder and serve hot.
