Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Prep Time : 11-15 minutes

Cook time : 31-40 minutes

Ingredients for Thecha Murgh Recipe

  • Chicken breast boneless 2

  • Garlic 8-10 cloves

  • Green chilli 12-15

  • Oil 4 tablespoons

  • Sesame seeds (til) 2 tablespoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Roughly chop garlic and green chillies. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan and add garlic and sauté.

Step 2

Add sesame seeds and sauté till lightly browned. Add green chillies and mix well. Transfer into a mixer jar and grind.

Step 3

Heat 2 tbsps oil in another non-stick pan. Cut the chicken breasts at a slant into big pieces and add to pan.

Step 4

Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook for a while. When the moisture dries up add ground thecha and mix well.

Step 5

When the chicken gets cooked, add lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot.
