Ingredients for Tandoori Lollipop Recipe

  • Chicken lollipop 12

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Hung yogurt ¼ cup

  • Kashmiri red chillies paste 1 tablespoon

  • Mustard oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garam masala powder ½ teaspoon

  • Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) ½ teaspoon

  • Chaat masala ½ teaspoon

  • Gram flour (besan) roasted 1 tablespoon

  • Oil for shallow frying

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing

  • Lemon wedges to serve

  • Onion rings to serve

Method

Step 1

Take chicken lollipops in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, lemon juice and salt and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Take yogurt, red chilli paste, mustard oil, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves powder, chaat masala, salt and gram flour in another bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Add marinated chicken lollipops and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 2-3 hours.

Step 4

Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place marinated chicken lollipops in it and shallow-fry till golden and crisp from all sides.

Step 5

Garnish with a mint sprig and serve hot with lemon wedges and onion rings.
