Ingredients for Tandoori Chicken Crescent Rings Recipe

  • Chicken Tandoori, chopped 1 cup

  • Dough Puff pastry as required

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Mozzarella cheese chopped ½ cup

  • Cream cheese 2 tablespoons

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Eggs beaten as required

  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

  • Onion rings to serve

  • Lemon slices to serve

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with some butter.

Step 2

Take chicken, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Dust the worktop with some flour, place the puff pastry dough on it and roll out into a rectangular sheet. Trim the edges with a pizza cutter to even out.

Step 4

Further cut the sheet it into long triangles and arrange the triangles on the greased tray in a way that the base of each overlaps another making a circle in the centre. Put the prepared chicken mixture on the overlapping end of the dough.

Step 5

Apply some water on the tip of the triangles, fold them inwards to cover the chicken and seal. Brush with the beaten eggs. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with onion rings and lemon slices.
