Ingredients for Pumpkin and Pineapple Crumble Recipe

  • Pumpkin peeled, sliced and blanched in cinnamon water 500 grams

  • Pineapple chopped 1 cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) roasted ¼ cup

  • Rolled oats roasted 1 cup

  • Cinnamon powder a pinch

  • Honey 2-3 tablespoons

  • Almonds roasted and chopped 10-15

  • Pumpkin seeds ½ cup

  • Chilled butter ? cup

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Mix together pumpkin, pineapple, cinnamon powder and honey in a bowl.

Step 3

Mix together wheat flour, oats, almonds and pumpkin seeds in another bowl. Add butter and mix till the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly in a casserole and top with the oats mixture. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Serve warm.
