Ingredients for Potato Chips and Sev Omelette Recipe

  • Potato chips 1 cup

  • Eggs 7

  • Sev 1/2 cup

  • Onion 1 medium

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Sweet red chilli sauce 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh cream 1 tablespoon

  • Oil for greasing

  • Fresh parsley sprigs 1-2


Step 1

Chop onion.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add chopped onion and saute.

Step 3

Break eggs in a bowl. Add chilli sauce and beat well. Add cream and beat again.

Step 4

Grease a cake tin/tart mould with oil.

Step 5

Pour beaten eggs in the pan and cook slightly.

Step 6

Place potato chips in the cake tin/tart mould.

Step 7

Remove pan from heat and scramble eggs a little. Pour the egg mixture on the potato chips.

Step 8

Roughly chop parsley springs and add on top. Top with sev and bake at 180ºC for 15 minutes.

Step 9

Serve hot.
