Ingredients for Pineapple Flambe Recipe

  • Pineapples 2 slices

  • Brandy as required

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Brown sugar 1 cup

  • Orange juice 1 cup


Step 1

Peel and remove the eyes of the pineapple.

Step 2

Core and cut into 1-cm thick slices.

Step 3

Melt butter in a pan and add brown sugar.

Step 4

Melt the sugar and then add the pineapple slices and cook for a while turning them occasionally.

Step 5

Add orange juice and cook the pineapple in the sauce. Add brandy and flambé it.

Step 6

For serving put the pineapple slices in a plate and pour the sauce over.
