Ingredients for Palak Paneer Quesadills Recipe

  • Spinach leaves (palak) blanched and chopped 1 cup

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 250 grams

  • Tortillas refined flour (maida) 8

  • Olive oil 1 tablespo to sprinkle

  • Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh cream 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Processed cheese grated as required

  • Mozzarella cheese grated as required

  • Tomato ketchup as required


Step 1

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds.

Step 2

Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add spinach, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add salt and mix.

Step 3

Switch off heat, add cream and lemon juice and mix well. Divide into 4 portions.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each tortilla on it, one at a time, and spread 1portion of the spinach mixture on top.

Step 5

Grate some cottage cheese over spinach, top with processed cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with another tortilla and drizzle some olive oil on the sides. Cook, flipping, till the cheese melts and both sides turn golden.

Step 6

Cut into wedges and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
