Ingredients for Paan Chocolate Mousse Recipe

  • Milk chocolate chopped 1 cup

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 4 tablespoons

  • paan filling 2 tablespoons

  • Egg yolks 3

  • Warm milk ¼ cup

  • Whipped cream 2 cups

  • Dark chocolate chips to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Boil some water in a deep non-stick pan. Place a large glass bowl on top. Add castor sugar and egg yolks and whisk continuously till it achieves ribbon consistency. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Add milk and whisk well.

Step 3

Melt chocolate in a microwave proof bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds, add it to egg yolk mixture and whisk well. Add paan filling and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer ½ of egg yolk mixture into another bowl. Add whipped cream and fold in. Add remaining egg yolk mixture and fold in well.Pour into serving glasses and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 5

Fill a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle with whipped cream and pipe out rosettes on top of the mousse in each glass. Place some chocolate chips in the center and serve immediately.
