Ingredients for Oats Pancake With Maple Syrup Recipe

  • Oatmeal 1/4 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1/2 cup

  • Soda bicarbonate 1/4 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Powdered sugar 2 tablespoons

  • Eggs 3

  • Buttermilk 1 1/2 cups

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Vanilla essence a few drops

  • Maple syrup as required


Step 1

Sieve together refined flour, whole wheat flour, soda bicarbonate and baking powder into a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix. Add eggs and mix. Add buttermilk and mix well to make a smooth batter. Add oatmeal and milk and mix.

Step 2

Add a little oil and vanilla essence and mix well. Heat a pan, grease it with a little oil. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread around the pan. Drizzle a little oil all round and let it cook on medium heat for two minutes.

Step 3

Flip and cook on the other side. Serve hot with maple syrup. You can also serve it with fresh fruits or with honey.
