Ingredients for Jalapeno Potato Cups Recipe

  • Jalapenos seeded and finely chopped 2-3

  • Baby potatoes 20-24

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Cheddar cheese grated ¼ cup

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 2 tablespoons

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Halve the baby potatoes. Scoop out the flesh in a bowl. Reserve the shells and flesh.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry potato shells till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

Put cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, jalapenos, red chilli flakes, salt and crushed peppercorns in another bowl and mix well.

Step 5

Stuff fried shells with cheese mixture and place on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
